Hathaway Dominates Unbeaten Krauss

After a year out John Hathaway returned to the Octagon on Saturday night at UFC on Fox 3, where he scored a fairly lopsided decision victory over the previously undefeated Pascal Krauss.
The Brighton-born fighter landed several strong knees early-on and Krauss never really looked like winning the contest from then on.

Editor Analysis: Krauss is a good fighter and a tough test for Hathaway on his return from injury. However, we should not get carried away as the German has only fought once in the UFC previously and that was a decision win on the undercard of UFC 122. Hathaway did look sharp, but I think he needs a win over another similar level fighter before he makes another push for the
top ten. A bout with the always-tough Matt Brown or fellow-European Simeon Thoresen could be interesting.
